Our injector piston was used by FIDAMC: Spanish Foundation for Research, Development and Application of Composite Materials, to manufacture the 1:1 scale trailing edge cover for the A320 using materials recycled from carbon waste from their production.
This part was made using infusion technology with a honeycomb structure, resulting in a very light part. This achievement, combined with innovation in the search for recycling solutions and the use of efficient manufacturing techniques, represents a milestone in the composites industry and lays the foundations for a promising future.
